Our Inspiration

The idea for the MY HERO Doll came from our own experience as a military family. In 2020, I deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) shortly after the birth of our son Mason. To stay connected, we used recordable storybooks, and every night Mason heard my voice.

When I returned, Mason immediately recognized my voice and ran into my arms. That powerful moment inspired us to create the MY HERO Doll, so other military families could share similar moments of connection during deployments.
