MY HERO RECORDABLE DOLL INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING THE RECORDER
- Battery: The recorder has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
- Charging Time: Fully charges in about 90 minutes.
- Instructions: Connect the recorder to a power source using the provided USB cable.
- Indicator: A red light will turn on while charging and turn off when fully charged.
Understanding the Recorder:
RECORDING INSTRUCTIONS: 2 Options
Option 1: Speaking directly into the Recorder
Activate Recorder: Switch the recorder from OFF to ON.
- Start Recording:
- Press and hold the recording button for 2 seconds using a pin or pencil.
- A beep will indicate the start of the recording.
- The white indicator light will flash during recording.
- Stop Recording:
- Press the recording button for 1 second using a pin or pencil.
- Two beeps will indicate the end of the recording.
INSERTING THE RECORDER INTO THE MY HERO DOLL
- Placement: Insert the recorder into the My Hero doll through the Velcro opening in the back.
- Position: Ensure the button is facing forward.
PLAYING BACK THE RECORDING
- Playback: Press the front of the My Hero doll to play the recording.
- Indicator: The white indicator light will stay on during playback.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Single Recording: The recorder can store only one recording at a time; new recordings will overwrite the old one.
- Battery Life: Approximately 50 minutes of playback on a full charge and up to 120 days on standby.
- Capacity: The recorder has a 16 MB capacity, sufficient for any children's picture book.
RECORDING TIPS
- Optimal Distance: Hold the recorder 6-12 inches from your mouth while recording.
- Maintenance: Keep the recorder out of reach of children to prevent accidental deletion and damage.
- If recording into the recorder from your phone hold your speaker directly up to the recorder.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR DOLL OWNERS
- This product contains a button or coin cell battery. A swallowed button or coin cell battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as two hours and lead to death. Do not open the recorder casing for any reason. If your recorder stops functioning, dispose of recorder and acquire a new one. Dispose of used batteries immediately. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
