Our Inspiration
The idea for the MY HERO Doll was inspired by our personal experience. In 2020, I deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) shortly after our son Mason was born. To stay connected, we used recordable storybooks so Mason could hear my voice every night.
When I returned, Mason immediately recognized my voice and ran into my arms. That powerful moment inspired us to create the MY HERO Doll, so other military families could experience the same connection during deployments.
