Our Inspiration

The idea for the MY HERO Doll came from our own journey as a military family. In 2020, I deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) shortly after the birth of our son Mason. To stay connected, we used recordable storybooks, playing my voice for Mason every night.

When I returned, Mason immediately recognized my voice and ran into my arms. That life-changing moment inspired us to create the MY HERO Doll, so other families could experience similar connections during deployment.
