Our Inspiration

The MY HERO Doll was inspired by our personal experience. In 2020, I deployed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) shortly after the birth of our son Mason. To stay connected, we used recordable storybooks, allowing Mason to hear my voice every night.

When I returned, Mason immediately recognized my voice and ran into my arms. That unforgettable moment inspired us to create the MY HERO Doll, so other military families could share similar moments of connection during deployments.
